Mission Statement
Mark and Jasmine have been friends for many years and have always shared a love of innovation, creativity and storytelling. Jasmine has long been fascinated by the idea of the elemental in gold and silver- products of the earth’s crust- as holder of our ancient memories. For Mark it’s the micro, the gemstones passed from mother to son or father to daughter. As their friendship progressed, the need for more sustainable practices in reusing and retelling old stories has found resonance for them both and driven many of Jasmine’s works. Their collaboration on Mimesis has allowed them to express this in a stunning range of jewellery. Each piece drawing inspiration from the trees, flora and fauna, the land and water they sit on, and the biosphere that surrounds it all. The pieces are made from 100% recycled precious metal, ensuring the materials already hold the energy of ancestry.
